Purchased the alpaca feeding. Great experience. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Fed the alpacas and goats, and held a fluffy chicken! Unforgettable.
Shame to see such horrible conditions on a obviously loved place. Inbred goats and neglected chickens with maggots and lice. Stay away! Much better places to pat animals.
What a beautiful place to visit and pat & feed an Alpaca or Llama. Had a magnificent afternoon with the team and the Alpaca families. Cuddles & kisses with the babies, (Alpacas) feeding & patting an even taking one for a walk. Madison Retreat looks awesome with it's cabins refurbished railway trains. They also have other cabins available. Jump on thir website and have a look for yourself! They have open days throughout the year and also hold different events there. Love Alpacas & Love Madisson Mountain Retreat!!
Great farm along the way to and from Sydney to have a stop to feed and pet alpacas. It's a fun experience where the farmers are extremely knowledgeable and love what they do. We did not stay for the night but would have been great to experience the shared games room with a pool table and Wii. Overall, I recommend trying it out, especially, if you want to break up the 2 hour drive between Sydney and Blue Mountains.
Went and visited today and i thought the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about their animals. Very good animal welfare and care for their animals as well which was nice to hear. I will definitely be back to spend time in one of their cool trains or cabins.
